MY COMPANY'S FIRST FUNDRAISING CONCERT:
BANDS4CHANGE PRESENTS KESHA
In 2015, I established Bands4Change to combine my passion for music with my interest in making quantifiable changes in social issues. We create concert events that raise awareness of social issues and raise money for charities addressing those issues. Bands4Change donates 100% of profits from its concerts to charities of the artist's choice.
In December 2016, we contracted with pop sensation Kesha, a nationally known recording artist, to perform at the Stroh Center in Ohio on Friday, January 27, 2017. All profits from the concert will be donated to the three charities the artist has selected: Humane Society International, National Eating Disorder Association, and Rape Abuse & Incest National Network. This high-profile event is expected to sell out all 5,000 tickets and has the potential to raise more than $20,000 for the three charities.
